Introduction

"they will not put up with the wholesome teaching,
but according to their own desires,
they will surround themselves with teachers
to have their ears tickled. " - 2 Timothy 4:3

Religion is the most divisive topic in the world today. There are so many beliefs and people who are completely unwilling to change those beliefs despite what information they are presented with. Now I enjoy a good debate, but only when there is reasonableness and humility present in the people involved. A person absolutely needs to be willing to change their beliefs based on new information! I have challenged my beliefs more than anyone could challenge my beliefs. However there is one phrase that particularly excludes a person from ever being able to learn and accept the truth. Not the truth based on "commands of men", but truth based on the God's word. If you have uttered the following or something remotely close to the following phrase then you would be better off navigating away from this webpage:

"I believe what I believe and there is nothing you can say to change that."

That close minded outlook on life is the haughtiness and stubbornness that Bible warns us about. That mentality will be our demise. That mentality is what made the Pharaoh's heart "hardened" (Exodus 7:13). It is what made him deny the Almighty God despite the miracles being performed right in front of his eyes. That person, with that mentality, need not waste his or her time perusing the information to be laid out in this blog. This blog was not created for you.

This blog is for the humble, the meek. Those desiring to know the "only True God" and Jesus Christ (John 17:3). The Bible said we are to come to an "accurate knowledge of truth" (1 Timothy 2:4). There are over 41,000 denominations of "Christianity". These denominations have to differ in someway otherwise they would be the same denomination! They all claim to have the truth, yet they are all different. It's time to learn some fundamental truths that are stated explicity in scriptures so you can take them to your local place of worship and say; "Ok, I know this to be factual, do you teach this?". If not, you know you're in the wrong place. If so, then we will establish even more things to question to make sure you're in the right place.

I encourage you to put your biases and pride aside as you read this blog. Allow the truth to find your heart. Accept the logic, reasoning, and facts presented to you. Do not ignore what you cannot explain. Do not close your eyes to what you don't want to see. Make your #1 priority be - not your desire to be right or your fear of being wrong - but your desire to worship the Father with spirit and truth (John 4:23 + 24)!

Do not be fooled by the teachings of false religion, these "Commands of Men" (Matthew 15:9).
